I had the opportunity to join my buddy Dave and family for a hike up to St. Mark’s Summit from Cypress Mountain today. It’s a 10km hike that took us 2.5 hours plus a bit more time at the viewpoint. We met a raven, a few very brave chipmunks, and a few other hikers, but unlike a lot of more popular hikes, it was quite quiet on the trail.

I feel blessed to live in such a beautiful area. We really have some spectacular hikes, with beautiful scenery here on the west coast. It feels magical and reminds me that I have so much more to explore in my ‘back yard’.
